Service in action,
Not politics as usual

"I'm not interested in politics as usual; my commitment is to be a vigilant watchdog for the taxpayers. I'll bring energy and a fresh perspective to the table, ensuring every tax dollar is used wisely and with full transparency and accountability. "
Margie Christie

Mission and Vision

My mission is to actively safeguard taxpayer dollars and ensure every resident has access to the services they need to thrive. As County Commissioner, I will drive transparency, demand accountability, and keep county government focused squarely on serving people — not politics.

Advocacy and Community Engagement

Throughout my career with non-profits, I have actively championed families across the county. My hands-on approach reflects my commitment to engaging with parents facing crises, assisting vulnerable community members, and collaborating with local organizations to address immediate needs. Whether organizing resources, advocating at the Statehouse, or supporting families who need a voice, I have consistently demonstrated dedication, clarity, and compassion.

My Vision as County Commissioner

I am not a political insider or a career office‑seeker. I’m running because I genuinely want to serve Montgomery County and ensure we have a Commissioner who protects both our financial resources and our natural assets. With years of experience managing budgets, advocating for families, and building strong community partnerships, I bring a strong work ethic, a collaborative approach, and a proven record of delivering meaningful results.

Commitment to Montgomery County

I bring a proven record of service, a trusted voice for the community, and a deep commitment to making Montgomery County a place where every family and every business has the opportunity to flourish. I am ready to bring my experience, my advocacy, and my unwavering dedication to the County Commission — and to the people who call this community home.
